Set up a kiosk

Pair a tablet and install the check-in app.

Step 1 of 4

Open kiosk settings

On your staff device, open Settings, then Check-in kiosks. Select Pair a kiosk. For an iPad, use iPadOS 17.2 or later.

Name the tablet

Choose its location and a name, such as Lobby iPad. Select Create pairing code. Keep this page open while pairing the tablet.

Scan with the tablet

Use the tablet's camera to scan the QR code on your staff device. Open the link in Safari on iPad or Chrome on Android. If the code expires, generate a new one.

Add it to the Home Screen

iPad: Share → View More (if shown) → Add to Home Screen → Add. Android: Chrome menu → Add to home screen. Open Somavue from the new icon.
